Racial & Social Justice
YWCA Kaua‘i is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all people.
Our commitment to racial and social justice has been at the forefront of our work and a foundational part of the organization for 100 years, and it is a cause that continues to grow as we advocate for the equality of all people regardless of race, gender, or sexuality.
Today, we remain committed to uplifting diverse voices, promoting education, and taking every possible step to uproot injustice and transform institutions until the world sees women, girls, sexual and gender minorities, and people of color the way we do: Equal. Powerful. Unstoppable.
