YWCA Kauaʻi is proud to honor extraordinary women whose lives and leadership inspire our community. This year marks our 15th Annual community event and we invite you to submit a nomination for one of our prestigious Nā Wāhine Alakaʻi o Kauaʻi Awards. Each award uplifts a unique quality of leadership: Kūlia i ka Nuʻu (to strive for excellence) honors women who demonstrate initiative, excellence, and achievement in their work and life. Ka Paipai Aʻe (to encourage) celebrates those who uplift others, fostering positivity and high morale among peers, colleagues, and community. Ka Lokomaikaʻi (does good, generous) recognizes women whose generosity and influence have made a lasting impact on women, girls, and families. And Hoʻomaikaʻi (achievement) honors those who have faced personal or professional challenges with resilience and strength. Through your nomination, you help shine a light on the remarkable women who shape and strengthen Kauaʻi.
