Please join the YWCA of Kaua’i and the Kauai Police Department as we march and rally in aloha and solidarity in response to the recent events in Ferguson, Falcon Heights, Baton Rouge, and Dallas on Wednesday, July 20th at 12pm.
The march will begin at the YWCA’s Women Center at noon, continue on Eiwa Street, and end at the Historic County building with a rally in support of our community’s harmony and safety.
Light refreshments and casual open dialogue with Kaua’i’s Law Enforcement Officers, The Office of Kaua’i Prosecuting Attorney, and other community agencies will follow. Parking available at Wilcox Elementary School, along Eiwa Street, and at the County Building.
Eveyone deserves equal protection under the law. YWCA USA is committed to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, dignity, and justice for all.
